Urgent: Support 3-Year-Old Lavesh's Solitary Kidney Treatment
Lavesh Ravsaheb Patil is a brave 3 years 8 months old boy from Jalgaon, Maharashtra. He has been diagnosed with a solitary functioning kidney, meaning he has a congenital absence of his right kidney (right renal agenesis) and has to survive entirely on his left kidney, which is currently undergoing compensatory hypertrophy and showing mild pelvicalyceal fullness.
He is currently admitted in the IPCU ward at Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for Children under Dr. Pradnya Bendre. The doctors have advised that he needs immediate specialized surgery, long hospital stay, and intensive medical management to ensure his remaining kidney stays functional and his health is preserved.
The total cost of his treatment is estimated to be Rs. 1,16,000. Lavesh's father works as a helper/farmer and earns a meager annual income of just Rs. 30,000 to support a family of 5 dependents. They have already exhausted all their savings and borrowed from other sources. Your support can help Lavesh receive the life-saving treatment he desperately needs.
